Security Clearance Issues: Special Concerns for LGBT Scientists, Engineers, and High-Technology Professionals

Protections for LGBT federal and government-contracting employees have eroded recently. This is especially critical for highly specialized professionals in careers that require security clearances. Guidelines that affect out LGBT employees are vague and lack standardized application. This workshop will explore how security clearance criteria have changed and what can be done by LGBT professionals to ensure full protection of their security clearance status.
