This page is intended to answer your questions about registration, hotel room block, career expo schedule, recruiters’ corner, and shipping/receiving logistics for expo collateral. It will be updated when we learn the details from our conference host site. Expect to see some additional useful information beginning the month of January 2019.
Each sponsor/exhibitor representative must register. Registration covers admission to all workshops, networking events, career expo, Saturday night gala awards dinner, and Saturday/Sunday continental breakfast / box lunch. Each sponsor/exhibitor is given a “sponsor code” that can be used n times, where n = the number of complimentary registrations associated with the sponsor/exhibitor commitment level. Representatives exceeding n are welcome, but should register at the professional rate.
Follow this link to the registration portal. If you have a “sponsor code”, select “professional” as your registrant category, select “off line” as your payment mode, and enter your code into the sponsor code field. This will give you a 100% discount for your complimentary registration. Finish filling out the form, and submit it to complete the registration.
Hotel Room Block
The official conference hotel is the USC Hotel (formerly known as the Radisson Hotel Los Angeles Midtown at USC), 3540 S Figueroa St, Los Angeles, CA 90007. We have negotiated an unbeatable block of rooms at $179++ each ($206 after taxes). Follow this link to reserve your hotel room on-line. Conference registration does not include hotel accommodations.
We encourage our career fair exhibitors to participate in the conference workshops when not staffing exhibit tables. To encourage you to enjoy the conference, your representatives are NOT REQUIRED to staff their tables at all times. Their registration gives them access to all workshops, plenaries, and meals. Your expo area:
Platinum level sponsors/exhibitors will get two adjacent 6′ long tables with 4 chairs. All other sponsors/exhibitors get a single table (6′ long) and 2 chairs.
Placement in the expo area will depend on sponsor/exhibitor commitment level, with the highest commitment levels receiving premium placement.
Plan on bringing your table throws, pull up banners, portable conference supplies. The expo area is at a university center ballroom, and we do not anticipate access to the following convention expo options: electricity outlets, internet or phone jacks, sign hanging services, booth carpeting, union trade services, union porter services.
The Recruiters’ Corner is a quiet area where your representative can talk to a prospective employee. It is not a fully private space.
Most of the conference: Business casual; you are welcome to (but not required to) sport your organizational uniforms / logo shirts, etc.
Gala Awards Banquet: Business Casual, Dressy Casual, Business Formal, Festive Attire
Package Receiving/Shipping Logistics
Exhibitor is responsible for inbound and outbound shipping, and venue shipping and receiving charges (at this point, we believe that there are no venue receiving charges). If you are sending items for the Out to Innovate Swag Bag, please be sure to mark your shipment “OTI SWAG BAG” so we will know to open the package. If you are sending items for your exhibit table, please mark your shipment “OTI Exhibit/youroranizationname”
